At a young age, Rachel discovered a deep passion for self-expression and design. Her childhood was marked by her endeavors in oil painting, floral design, and piano, three artistic pursuits that cultivated her unique artistic vision.
Rachel attended Coastal Carolina University where worked to expand her design skills. It was during this time she crossed paths with local painter Kim Clayton, whose influence would leave an indelible mark on her artistic sensibilities. Rachel joined Kim's team as an in-house artist, where she was immersed in a world of color theory, contrast, and intricate patterns. This experience not only deepened her understanding of art but also broadened her perspective on design.
While pursuing her Bachelor's degree, Rachel worked at a local bridal boutique, where her creativity was channeled into staging elaborate window and bridal displays. She also took on the pivotal role of organizing and coordinating bridal dresses for the store's inventory and fashion shows. Rachel became very well-versed in helping clients make one of the biggest design decisions of their lives!
