In 2003, husband and wife team Andy and Kim Scott, started a staging company, completely by accident. Andy, a successful real estate agent with BHHS Carolinas Realty, asked his wife Kim to help one of his vacant listings show better. She added a few accessories and it sold immediately. The buyer's agent then asked Kim to do another listing for her and it snowballed from there. Kim’s natural design and décor talents made her an immediate success. For over 20 years, she and Andy staged homes for the Triad’s top builders and real estate agents.
Erin Hege Shea fell into the staging and design world naturally, as well. She is also a real estate agent with BHHS Carolinas Realty and has seen firsthand the need for a variety of home design services. After preparing homes for market, many of Erin’s clients asked her to help them decorate their next home and arrange furnishings in their new spaces. She then began helping other real estate agents prepare their listings for photography and showings. Having worked with a variety of custom builders, she also enjoys guiding clients through the home building process.
Carolina Staging & Design is the brainchild of Erin and her husband, Steve Shea. Together, they want to continue providing sellers with the excellent service Andy and Kim started over 20 years ago. In addition to staging, the Carolina Staging & Design team has professionals specializing in Organization, Redesign, Holiday Design, and Building & Renovation Design.
